The events revolve around Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), who is fired from his company after being removed by his former student (Darren Cross). (Pym) exploits the skills of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a professional thief who has just been released from prison. Through (Pym's) training, and using a new robe that makes its owner able to shrink in size, gives him superhuman strength, and controls an army of ants, (Lang) transforms into Ant-Man (Ant-Man). Now the small hero must use his new skills to prevent (Cross), known as (Yellow Jacket), from dealing with the technology itself, and using it as a weapon to carry out evil purposes.
